Marc Williamson, Registered Psychotherapist

I understand that opening up to someone new can feel difficult. Sharing personal experiences, struggles, and parts of ourselves that we may not often speak about takes courage and vulnerability. For me, earning your trust is an important part of the therapeutic process.

I strive to create a space where children, youth, emerging adults, and families can feel safe, respected, and comfortable being themselves. We can work together to better understand what you are experiencing, explore the challenges you are facing, and identify goals and supports that feel meaningful to you.

Marc Williamson is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) who has been providing mental health services in the Algoma area for more than eighteen years. He works with children, adolescents, families, and emerging adults, supporting clients through a range of emotional, personal, and family-related challenges.

Marc has experience supporting clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, and the impact of trauma, as well as other challenges that can affect well-being and daily life. He recognizes that reaching out for support can feel intimidating and places a strong emphasis on building trust and creating a therapeutic relationship where clients can feel safe, respected, and heard.

Marc works collaboratively with clients and families to better understand their experiences, identify their goals, and explore meaningful paths forward. He offers services in both English and French and provides support to youth ages 9–18 and emerging adults ages 19–24, as well as families.
